It was truly poetic, fitting, and ultimately just that the United States soccer team should defeat Algeria in the World Cup last week. Thanks to the internet their font has already spread much farther than merited, and had they advanced to the tournament's knockout round no doubt people in far off lands would have been exposed to it, like innocent children injecting heroin for the first time out of curiosity and becoming hopelessly addicted.
