America: More like fondue

You know we're making strides in acceptance when a southern recipe like biscuits merges with exotic flavors and then slaps an Algerian font on the package. This company gets credit for adding another bolt to the bridge of world homogeneity.

This nationally distributed magazine features the freshest mystery and short stories. To the trained eye there's hardly any mystery surrounding the bold font gracing this publication's cover. I solved another mystery today; that the Algerian font is credited to designer Alan Carr. Way to go Al!

As we strolled past our former office building, we noticed these new signs. About the only thing golden about that place was all the urine from the bums that would relieve themselves by the entrance to our office, driving us to a new location for the better. Of course despite our numerous complaints it would be years of vacancy before this sign was posted as a last ditch effort to maybe keep the entrance to the rental property free of human feces and empty beer cans.

One of the bittersweet sides of L.A. is the palm trees that get in the way of your picture. One of the other bittersweet sides is the ever growing Armenian population. Not because I don't like them, but because they literally often wear a bitter look on their faces but own many sweet restaurants. Like Garni. Note the Ionic column clip-art. That's but a mere tease of the myriad gold and black decor awaiting within.
